Personal Information, Carefully Held
This notice explains the personal information involved in reading this website and corresponding with its publisher.
01 — Responsibility
Who handles your information
Clevercometjolt Botanical Media Ltd, 27 Frederick Street North, Dublin 1, D01 K6W2, Ireland, CRO 791438, is the controller for personal information processed for this website and its editorial correspondence. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions.
02 — Information and purpose
Reading, drafting and corresponding
When you request a page, hosting systems may process technical access data such as your IP address, request time, requested address, browser information and response status. Such processing supports delivery, security and fault investigation. Our legitimate interests are operating a reliable, secure editorial website.
The contact draft tool processes the fields you enter within your browser. It does not submit them to us, use local storage or send them to an analytics service. Copying places the preview on your device’s clipboard; downloading creates a text file on your device. Your browser or device may retain information through its own autofill, history or recovery features.
If you send an email, we receive your email address, message, any name you provide and the associated correspondence information. We use this to answer your request, consider corrections and maintain relevant editorial records. The usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in managing correspondence; legal obligations may also require specific records to be retained. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and appropriate.
03 — Access and retention
Only for a relevant purpose
Access is limited to people who need information for editorial, administrative or security tasks and service providers supporting hosting or email under appropriate arrangements. We do not sell personal information or use the contact tool for advertising profiles. Information may be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technical information is retained only as needed for security and operational purposes. Routine correspondence is reviewed and deleted when no longer needed, normally within 12 months after the matter closes. Records supporting a published correction, an ongoing dispute or a legal duty may be retained longer where justified.
Where a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer requirements must be met, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You may contact us for details relevant to your information.
04 — Your choices and rights
Ask us about your information
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Send requests to the editorial email address. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month, with any lawful extension explained. You may complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission or another competent supervisory authority.
